Ms Solome Nakaweesi is a senior researcher with Afya na Haki, a Pan-African feminist activist, an active participant and analyst in women’s human rights, sexual health rights and feminist movements and an international development consultant specialising in progressive social movements building-especially feminist and SRHR movements, organisational development, transformative leadership, human rights and governance.

Solome has been at the forefront of many progressive social movements and agendas; she is an ardent SRHR champion that has broken silences on a cross range of controversial issues, designed SRHR programs and campaigns and is at the centre of abortion rights, sex work, LGBT+, CSE and wider SRHR organising and movements in Africa.
