Acksam is a lawyer with a special interest in International Humanitarian Law and Human Rights, through which he advocates for peace and justice to cause better change.

He holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from the Islamic University in Uganda (IUIU) and is currently pursuing a Post Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice from the Law Development Centre.
