Nimrod Muhumuza serves as Research Lead for the African Reproductive Justice Litigation Fund, where he shapes and oversees the Fund’s research strategy across the Secretariat and its partner network. He ensures that grantmaking, litigation support, and knowledge production are grounded in rigorous, context-responsive evidence, strengthening the strategic impact of reproductive justice litigation across Africa.
A legal scholar working at the intersection of constitutional law, sexual and reproductive justice, children’s rights, and climate change, Nimrod focuses on how legal systems respond to structural inequality in African contexts. His work bridges scholarship and practice, translating complex socio-legal analysis into research that informs advocacy, movement-building, and transformative accountability.
He also leads research at Afya na Haki (Ahaki) and is completing a Doctor of Laws (LLD) at the Dullah Omar Institute at the University of the Western Cape.
