Nalukwago Assumpta Mary is a seasoned Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (MEL) specialist with over 10 years of hands-on experience in program design and MEL systems strengthening for development programs, with a primary focus on health and human rights. In her career, Assumpta has led and provided oversight for the design, monitoring, and evaluation of more than 20 advocacy projects funded by multiple donors.

Her work has included ensuring compliance with national, donor, and institutional reporting standards; aligning project and program designs with organizational strategic objectives; and tracking the effective implementation of workplans and MEL frameworks. Assumpta is a strong advocate of results-based monitoring and adaptive learning, firmly believing in the power of timely, high-quality, and evidence-based data to inform decision-making and improve program outcomes.
