This paper discusses the trends and impact of litigation seeking to enforce reproductive health rights in Uganda. Particular attention is paid to cases enforcing maternal health rights. In the last decade, the legal terrain has witnessed some developments regarding the enforcement of economic, social and cultural rights (ESCRs) This has been seen in the actions that have sought to move these rights from the periphery to the forefront as justiciable rights for which violations can be atoned.
