Advocacy for Reproductive Justice in Africa

The Short Course on Advocacy for Reproductive Justice in Africa, organized through the Litigating Reproductive Justice in Africa (LIRA) program at Ahaki, is a transformative virtual training aimed to equip participants with essential knowledge, strategies, and skills to advance access to Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR) in Africa. Participants have the opportunity to interact with experts from academia, advocacy, and legal practice, gaining valuable insights into the framework of Reproductive Justice and its application in the African context.

It was a mind opening experience and I must confess I learned a lot. Facilitators were exceptional and were grounded in the content. Reproductive Justice cuts across many program aspects and therefore can easily be advocated even as a crosscutting issue because it borders on rights of individuals.
